AT&T false advertising?

You might be familiar with the Vongo service…a video download service with heavy duty Microsoft DRM that (naturally) refuses to support the Mac platform. The folks at Starz explain their choice not to support the Mac as Apple’s fault, claiming that they can’t do it unless Apple licenses FairPlay (iTunes DRM) to them, when really the fact is that they’re too lazy/cheap to write or license their own DRM. Come on, how hard can it be? Apple didn’t need Microsoft’s blessing or licensing to get iTunes running on Windows. What’s these guys’ problem here?

Anyway, what’s funny is, that everyone’s favorite reconstituted monopoly, AT&T is using the ad you see at right (don’t click it) to sell (well, give away) Vongo service, an ad featuring a Mac laptop. Pretty ironic if you ask me.
