Site updates and a trip to Tanforan
As I said in my last post, I have spent a bunch of time fine-tuning my site…It’s taken me quite a while to get the smaller bugs out, but I finally feel like my site is almost finished. I’ve added a bunch of new things in the past couple of days. I really should quit now and throw that energy into coursework, but it’s hard when this is something I enjoy and which is related to my future career, where the work I’m doing in class mostly has an abstract connection to IT.
Well, I finally got new shoes. That’s something. On my old pair of shoes, the right one had a gaping hole on its left side. The left shoe was in fine condition. I have no idea how it got that way, but I went around for about three months like that before I sprung for a pair of Skechers Skeptics. They were on sale for $49.99 at JCP. We went to the new mall at Tanforan to get my shoes, and to check it out on its grand opening day, and ended up also getting a great deal at a place I’d never heard of before called Anna’s Linens. If you have one of these near you, you have to go in there. Amazing deals on bedding, bathroom stuff, and lots more. I sound like they paid me, but $26 for a queen comforter and two queen pillows—that’s close enough to paying me.
So that’s about all I have to put down, but at least it’s something so that it’s obvious I’m not dead.
